Colin Scotland
Built a seven-figure business. Lost everything when it collapsed. Built back with several six-figure ventures. Co-founded a successful school and multi-academy trust in the UK. Spent 12 years as a marketing coach. All before generative AI existed.
Colin knows what it takes to build something real. And what it costs when the foundation isn't solid.
His focus now: helping organizations adopt AI in ways that strengthen the foundation rather than hollow it out.

Humane Business is shaped by leaders across innovation, foresight, technology, and human development. They challenge our thinking and open doors for the businesses we serve. We are introducing them here as they come on board.
Peter evaluates frontier AI models for Scale AI and Mercor and advises institutions on AI governance and adoption. A former U.S. diplomat, he founded The Ayadee Foundation and its foresight practice, Blue Shift Labs, designing leadership programs across Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. His doctoral research examines how work itself is being reorganized.
Vera is a serial entrepreneur, angel investor, and keynote speaker, and the founder of Beyond, a global community connecting women leaders across cultures and industries. She led 500 Global's Middle East operations and served with the Dubai Future Foundation inside the UAE Prime Minister's Office. A World Economic Forum Expert and UN Innovation Expert who has lived in ten countries, she advises governments, investors, and founders on innovation and emerging markets.
Kenneth is the Co-Founder and AI Lead of Counselling Tutor and a founding member of the AI Expert Reference Group in Counselling and Psychotherapy. A qualified counsellor, clinical supervisor, and educator, he is the author of Ethical AI Practice and Basic Counselling Skills, and co-author of Online and Telephone Counselling. Through Counselling Tutor he has supported thousands of practitioners in the UK and internationally.
Sandra is a smart city professional who inspires city leaders to think differently and take bigger, bolder actions that create equitable, livable, sustainable communities. She leads Personal Cities, is Brand Ambassador for SmartCitiesWorld and a three-year Master of Ceremonies of its London summits, and serves as Smart City Chief for Urban Icon Global. In times of uncertainty, she believes trusted relationships and responsible, advanced technology give us the confidence and courage to create a humane life.
Our resident builders
Every community has the people everyone turns to when something will not work. Ours have a name. The Geek Corner is a volunteer crew of self-taught builders inside the Humane Business community who test the tools, run the experiments, and help members get unstuck. This page is our public thank you.
The same Peter from our advisor circle. His day job is evaluating frontier AI models for Scale AI and Mercor, so when a tool misbehaves, he is the first person we ask.
Dan brings more than twenty years of IT and business leadership, including over a decade in healthcare, medical billing, and revenue cycle technology. A systems engineer with a master's in software engineering and an MBA, he previously led EZClaim and Eye Cloud Pro, so he knows what it takes to ship software people rely on.
